I was under the impression that Branson was Pigeon Forge, Jr.  Look up Pigeon Forge, Tennessee if you aren't aware.  It's a lot.  Because of this assumption, I've been sarcastically recommending Branson as a vacation destination for at least fifteen years.  My trip to Eureka Springs [by vehicle] put me a little over an hour away and it was essentially on the way back to Nashville, so I had to.  Boy was I in for a treat.  Did not know there's a historic downtown.  Pigeon Forge doesn't have that.  Branson's ridiculous district is across town.  Didn't even go, but you should.  Unless you've been to Pigeon Forge.

*Full Throttle Distillery.  First thing you'll see when coming into downtown from the river.  Amazing outfit.  Had to kill several hours and killed them all here.  Not a dive by any means, but they earned a star.

Kilroy's.  T-shirt shop.  Just go.  There's something in there for you.
