DENISON

Denison | Texas

Denison is a lovely little [rapidly growing] town in north Texas.  I have friends there and I've been several times.

Nick's Family Restaurant.  Lovely local diner in the heart of town.  Highly recommended for breakfast.

The North Rig.  Great locals spot!  Looks like a chain [Chili's, Applebee's, etc.] but it's not.  Very much a locals spot.  Great food and great people!

34 Chophouse & Doc's Lounge.  I went for a great steak.  I got, not only, one of the best of my life, but also a top three dining experience.  In Denison, Texas.  Not sure how to state it, but Doc's Lounge is amazing.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop.  Legit tacos.  Very strong recommendation!

Stafford House Provisions.  Wonderful high-end dining in the old train station & hotel [I believe].

The Library Grill [Sherman].  Excellent mom & pop fine dining in an old house.  Highly recommended!

Lettuce Indulge.  Great lunch spot!

Bridges.  If you like bridges, there are a couple good ones over the Red River here and there.

Ernie's [Colbert, Oklahoma].  Great roadside greasy spoon just over one of those bridges.
