FORT LAUDERDALE

Outside of Nashville & San Diego, Fort Lauderdale/South Florida now houses more people I know than anywhere else and I've now been several times and will be there often.  So, I moved it near the top.  Fort Lauderdale is great, if you love Florida.  It's a nice hybrid between coastal & rural Florida, two worlds that are very different.  Hard to explain what I mean in words, just go see it.

Las Olas Boulevard.  Party street.  General shit show.  It's Fort Lauderdale's Bourbon/Broadway/Gaslamp.  Lots of great spots and hot drunks.
*The Wharf.  Not a dive, but definitely a sports bar.  Just happens to be gigantic.  It's awesome!

J. Mark's Steakhouse.  Didn't set out to go here, but very glad I caught a red light at this intersection.  Best prime rib that I can recall!

Foxy Brown.  Great spot.  AMAZING burger!  Go to their reviews and you'll see my photo of it.  It's amazing!

Ocean Prime.  Amazing waterfront fine dining!

Sparrow.  Amazing club-vibe rooftop sushi spot at The Dal Mar.

Del Mar Fort Lauderdale.  Beautiful beachfront hotel restaurant.  High end, but still somehow casual.

Louie Bossil's.  Amazing upscale Italian spot.  Hoppin.  Just went here last trip [12.12.25 - 12.15.25].  Will be back for sure!

Palm Room.  Awesome bar!

Beach House Las Olas.  Great spot right across from the beach!  Chic, great food, great atmosphere!

Rock Bar.  Another solid beach-side spot at the end of Las Olas.  

Takato.  Badass sushi spot!

*Moxies Fort Lauderdale.  Higher-end sports bar, but still gets an asterisk!

Boathouse at The Riverside.  Excellent waterside spot!  Great food and service!

Casa Playa.  Awesome Cuban spot!  Don't believe I've had legit Cuban before.  It was excellent!

Billy's Stone Crab [Hollywood].  Definitely worth the drive!​
